• BUILD 1.41.0 RELEASED! •

We're spending nearly all of our manpower on the upcoming features right now so while there are less new features in this build than normal it's not due to lack of development. Rather, we're getting close on several key things such as the upcoming tournament system and the new Undead faction! Expect some good things to show up in the upcoming weeks!

Please be aware that with the new map sizes we've several hundred maps to update - many are not yet finished so if you see some odd terrain issues don't be alarmed. We'll try to have them all finished for the next update.

FIXES AND UPDATES

• Buildings should no longer take permanent damage after PVP battles unless hardcore mode was selected.

• Fixed experience bars on end of battle screen.

• Peasants in PvP can no longer be deployed until the game is actually running.

• Spells, like troops, now show rarity.

• Fixed an issue with enemy troop levels in post gold quests.

• Fixed an issue with resurrection not working properly in all cases.

• Fixed an issue with chat so it will now remember what channel you were chatting in if you used the /# commands.

• Fixed a bug where damage specials were not being applied properly.

• Fixed a potential client crash related to guild wars.

• Fixed the duration display on cards with repeating effects.

• Changing the filter in the items shop will now reset the page counter back to 0.

• Added a proper scroll bar to item management.

• Fixed some minor issues with XP by damage code which could cause instability.

• Adjusted the map system to allow for larger maps.

• Viewers now use the enhanced lighting when displaying troops.

• Greatly improved minimap rendering (especially for Magic and Light, more to follow)

• Fixed a potential crash related to pathing off the map.

• Fixed a crash related to summoned units.

• Potentially fixed the issue with garrisoning and setting deploy points not working for some players.

• Fixed an issue which would prevent some players from attacking buildings in quests.

• Overhauled the way units flock and make use of formations. They should move much more naturally now. Several additional further improvements are also planned.

• The options screen now has a chat tab with options for font size, and opacity settings for the chat windows.

• Fixed a bug with sending mail with no subject.

• Special abilities that cause damage or lower morale of units can now be used at the same time.

• Towers will no longer shoot in the air when the unit they are attacking garrisons.

• Units will not appear to be walking when they are not actually moving.

• Fixed an issue where a gold rewards in PVP would display improperly for some players.

• Spell ranks can now go up to their max.

• Your peasants can no longer riot and take a negative number of resources.

• Fixed a crash in Trade, possibly THE Browse items crash.

• In a PVP, if one of the other players retreats a unit, your selected units will not appear to be deselected in the tray while they are selected on the field.

BALANCE CHANGES

The patch we've pushed up a lot of stamina adjustments as we're trying to improve the effectiveness of the melee units in catching those pesky ranged, kiting troops. There are also a number of minor changes to several units though some may result in significant performance improvements. Additionally the fixes to damage specials and spells will improve the performance of several heavy hitting units like dragons and daemons which will now properly be applying their damage across the full damage range.
